    Real-Time Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel Supply System or RTES is a mixing device that mixed diesel fuel and water to produce diesel emulsion fuel just before it is injected into a diesel engine. By using this mixer, the stability issue and expensive price of diesel emulsion fuel can be overcome.

In order to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of diesel engine, an alternative fuel has been introduced which known as diesel emulsion fuel. It is a mixture of diesel fuel and some percentage of water. However, the existence of surfactant, which plays an important role for the emulsion’s stability, has become a huge barrier to commercialize this alternative fuel due to its high price in the market. 

As a solution to remove the dependency of surfactant, a mechanical approached has been designed which known as Real-Time Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel Supply System or RTES. It is a mixing device that mixed diesel fuel and water to produce diesel emulsion fuel just before it is injected into a diesel engine. By using this mixer, the stability issue and expensive price of diesel emulsion fuel can be overcome.
