This existing systems utilized the traditional optical components that has limited data rate, supports less modulation formats, and limited real time monitoring of the optical system, and are impractical to carry on the field.

This invention offers the high date transmission, at low power consumption for different modulation formats, and provides the real time monitoring in terms of Bit Error Rate, temperature and other parameters. In terms of this is invention provides the low cost, low power design solution for optical systems.

This innovative product currently is an end product. However, using programming can create different end products for different applications.

As the product is beneficial for the telecommunication companies that have optical fiber communication system for long haul communication, there is a potential of penetrating this particular market apart from the education industry especially for institution, and universities to develop a low-cost fully equipped optical and photonics laboratory.

The innovation is open for licensing as well as further collaborations.
